The Pioneers of Rock ‘n Soul Show is a nonstop, no holds barred production that pays tribute to many of the essential soul, blues, and early rock trailblazers of the 50’s and 60’s.

The show’s founder and star, ‘Legends in Concert’ Performer, Billy Buchanan, portrays Little Richard, Ray Charles, Sam Cooke, and Chuck Berry, with an unbelievable authenticity.

As an award-winning recording artist, Billy Buchanan has released ten albums as a solo artist, two albums with the band Fusebox, and another album with the band Beehive. His latest album, “The Big Comeback”, was released in April 2021. He’s had three Top 20 songs on the CCM charts and has performed in all 50 states and in 26 countries. As a sideman and multi-instrumentalist, he’s played bass, guitar, keyboards, or sang background vocals for many great artists, including Grammy winners Rebecca St. James, Michael Tait, and John Carter Cash. As an actor, he was nominated for a Dove Award for his role in the touring production, Hero The Rock Opera. As a tribute artist, he was nominated for four Sunny Awards at The Sunburst Celebrity Impersonator’s Convention (including the prestigious Bea Fogelman Award of Excellence). He won for ‘Best Website’. Billy performed as ‘Stevie Wonder’ for Vegas’ ‘Legends in Concert’ starting in 2019 and won for “Best Soul Artist” in 2020 at Las Vegas’ Reel Awards. Even with all this success, Billy has never forgotten where he came from and the artists that inspired him as a child. That is why he created The Pioneers of Rock ‘n Soul; to pay tribute to the city that he loves and the music that changed his life and the lives of millions around the world.
